PRIDE PUSHBACK?

WAREHOUSE WORRIES

Residents gathered outside Palm Springs City Hall Wednesday evening to protest plans for a large warehouse being planned on tribal land.
The Palm Springs City Council on Wednesday reviewed plans for a 2.8-million-square-foot warehouse complex on tribal land in north Palm Springs, adopting a “conformity report” on the project and moving forward with plans for a future joint meeting with the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.

The Coachella Valley’s regional airport is experiencing continued growth in domestic travel that more than compensates for modest reductions in Canadian flight capacity, according to information presented at the latest Airport Commission meeting.

Indio had the valley’s second largest year-over-year price decrease, according to the latest home sales data. Detached home prices fell nearly 4.8% to $611,000 in November. Only Cathedral City saw a bigger drop off; there, home prices fell 5.2%
